A bad day got worse when Francisco Liriano’s elbow gave out again. Ugh. This doesn’t look good – he said he heard a “pop” sound this time. I suspect the Twins are just going to shut him down for the rest of the year. He’s so young and so good, you hate to see him struggle with arm issues. Then again Liriano has always had arm issues – that was why the Giants didn’t mind throwing him into the A.J. Pierzynski fleecing to begin with.To top things off, our newborn Alex PUKED all over my Twins jersey tonight. I’d start to give up hope at this point, but the Twins keep pulling effective starting pitchers out of their collective belly button. Who needs Brad Radke or Francisco Liriano? We’ve got The Boof, Garza and … um, well, okay, we’re working on that one. Maybe T.C. BEAR is loosening up in the ‘pen as I type. You ever seen a grown bear throw a circle change?
